Obtaining Visas
The foreign passport must be valid at least 6 months beyond intended
stay in Sri Lanka. Visas may be obtained at the Airport for a
30-day period. However, citizens of some countries need to obtain
visas prior to their arrival in Sri Lanka. Please contact the Sri Lankan High Commission/Embassy in your country for further details.
Transit Facilities
There are a number of fully air-conditioned day rooms with attached
toilets for transit passengers who wish to stretch out and rest.
These rooms are available at both the arrival and departure terminals.
Shower rooms are available in the transit lounge
for your convenience.
These facilities are provided by the Airport
and Aviation Services Ltd.
